Nadine Samonte and her mother-in-law Isabel Rivas have asked that their family members be prayed for.

Nadine, her husband Richard Chua, and their oldest daughter Heather were all admitted to the hospital at the same time.

Richard will have an angiogram and a colonoscopy; Nadine required a blood transfusion due to a difficult pregnancy; and their four-year-old daughter will have eye surgery.

Isabel pleaded, “Please, please, please keep us in your prayers.”

Nadine, like her mother-in-law, asks for prayer, trying to remain strong and believing that the Lord God will not forsake them.

Nadine’s Instagram post on Tuesday, August 3 was very emotional.

“I’m kinda emotional right now. I don’t know what to say or do but I know everything will be fine. Kapit lang, prayers lang,

“’Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding,’ this is what I’m thinking for the past weeks.

“Yes, we are going through a lot, hindi halata noh?” she jokingly added, trying to ease the heavy emotions at her post.

Because of the difficulties her family was facing, Nadine said she couldn’t control her emotions.

“Pero ngayon hindi ko mapigilan emotions ko, I need your prayers. This week will be very tough for me and the whole family,” she said.

“Heather will have an eye surgery today, and my husband will have his angiogram this week.

“You guys know na I’m struggling also with my pregnancy but here I am fighting and trying to be strong for them, for all of us.

“Crying on my own so they won’t see how I really feel. I wanna be strong for them. It’s so hard pag family talaga.

“I’m really really emotional right now. I can’t stop my tears while typing this. Lord give me all the strength. I know we can do this with you,” she added.
